Herbs

Cache~Cachet’s herbal sachet was put together by an Oregon herbalist.  This particular recipe has been formulated so that the aroma of one herb is not prevalent over another herb, therefore when in a combination the odor is neutralized and does not permeate your garments.  The moths, however find the aroma repugnant.  They deem that this is an unsafe habitat to lay their eggs.  Remember it is the larva that feed on your garments.

At the Knit-Purl

When I attended the Knit and Crochet Show in Portland,OR I met a fantastic crochet designer called The Crochet Dude.  Drew Emborsky has an impressive clientele of men crocheters.  He loves the coverture for traveling with his yarn samples.  It keeps the yarn together.  When traveling, if the TSA agent paws through his luggage, the yarn does not get disorganized, dropped on the floor or get lost which has happened in the past.

Lynn Landon, an experience knitter writes – “I received my coverture and have been using it to store the raw wool yarn I use for knitting.  It’s much nicer looking than the plastic bags that I was using before. I no longer have to worry about the wool being eaten by  moths”.

The sachet of herbs, smell wonderful; much nicer than moth balls or other insect-repelling chemicals.  I’m going to keep all of my wool in the coverture from now on.  I plan to store my finished sweater in the coverture.  This is a very pretty addition to my closet space.
