Summer's here - Do you know where your cashmere sweaters are?
If you've ever gone to put on your favorite sweater in the fall only to find that a moth got to it before you, you'll want to read on. We've found a great product to protect your precious knits from those pesky critters....
They're called "covertures", which by the way is my new vocab word for the week:
COVERTURES: a covering; a shelter
Covertures come in two sizes: small and large, and hiding inside each bag is an herbal sachet. Formulated by an Oregon herbalist, they have concocted just the right mix of herbs to send those bugs packing. Of course, as a Catfabulous reader, I'm sure you would NEVER think of using toxic, smelly moth balls! Now not only are your clothes safe, but they look beautifully organized in your closet. Each coverture is lined with satin and has a clear window so you can see exactly what's inside. Just think: no more tearing apart your closet to find what you're looking for!

In my constant need to organize my closet I am always pulling last season items to make room for more recent purchases. That doesn't mean that I want to get rid of my favorites that will be brought back next year....

Run for Cover
Boo! Summer's over. Do you know where your sweaters are?
Not to spook you or anything, but your cashmere hoodies and wool pullovers could be premiering in their own little horror flick as we speak. ATTACK OF THE KILLER MOTHS! Or, almost as bad, THE DRY CLEANER ROBBED ME BLIND!
Cache-Cachet, a new luxe storage choice, will spare your sweaters from looking like Swiss cheese and spare you from owing your firstborn to Derrick the Dry Cleaning Dude. The protective covers are made of pretty cotton/poly fabrics, in muted colors like parchment with a filigree motif or cream with wide tonal stripes. With a button closure and a see-through ribbon for easy view, Cache-Cachet bags provide the plush presentation that your fine wintry threads deserve. A secret pocket containing a sachet of natural, moth-repelling herbs ensures that your pashmina will emerge from the summer smelling sweet, rather than reeking of a musty old attic.
Oooh. Scary!
